I sit and watch the rain, and see my tears run down the window pane
Long post, here I go.
Before I start, I shall help my brothers promote their carnival tickets.
Over to Rox姐姐's place on Wed to pay respect before heading over to Bugis to meet EC and Gloria Lim to get back-to-school items(More like Gloria and I getting a school bag each, really. EC got hers ages ago and just tagged along.) since Gloria wanted to get it so badly. Haha. Sat at Long John's after school-bag shopping and chatted for a really long time. Haha. We were intending to bus home but apparently, Gloria couldn't find the bus no. she took to Bugis so we had to train home instead! :P
Met up with Ying'er, Myra and Salted Pig on Thursday for a lunch date followed by a the Bridewars movie. Met Ying'er at 11.35 (I was supposed to meet Myra at 11.30, but apparently she thought it was 12.30, so yea) and walked around to look for some food place (since we were early and it totally slipped our minds about getting the tickets.) and finally decided on Gelare instead of the initial plan to Sakae Sushi when Myra finally reached. We were sitting down and waiting for the food when we realised I forgot to purchase the tickets so Myra and I walked to Marina Square to get em' whilst Ying'er continued waiting for the food. Heh. She called up just as we got to purchased the movie tickets just to inform us that the food was there so we kinda hurried back(or did we?) to Gelare. Salted Pig was totally late, on time to see me finish half of my food and the other 2 finish theirs. (Ohmy, I'm becoming a snail... D:) Anyway, had fun chatting and catching up with our lives over dessert before heading over to HMV (since we had 50 mins to spare). Salted Pig left after that and the 3 of us went to GV to catch Bridewars. The show's hilarious, and I'll suggest you go to watch it :P As we were making our way out after the show, guess who I saw? EC and Jessica! Haha. EC was totally shocked, Jessica started laughing and Myra was like "How cool is this?". Heh. Walked to Millenia walk (cos Myra wanted to go to Candy Empire, though she didn't get anything in the end.) and Ying'er got a Wang(汪)(Mango flavoured) donut which Myra apparently wanted to kope! Super funny! Walked back to Cityhall MRT before training home. Long phone calls in the evening with Sab and EC, worrying about posting on friday.
I had the most disastrous morning yesterday. Was doing scripture mastery in church at 6ish in the morning when my phone rang. Was feeling so tense but I just opened the msg and I totally just stared at the msg, trying to sink the terrible reality into my head but it didn't happen. My mind was just, ______________________. Smses were bombarding my inbox, I think there were more than 30 smses just asking where I've been posted to, and a couple of phonecalls. Bottomline: I'm appealing. I wanna get out of there, and into my first choice. Submitted my appeal form online before I accompanied my aunt to one of my grandaunt's place..
And since when were 8A1s not accepted into RJ?
Meh, I'm feeling really sad right now. And EC & Jessica's dragging me out for retail therapy later. Not for them, but for me. (thank you very much, your good intentions have very much been appreciated.) And over to Bishop's place for dinner tonight. I should try to feel happy. And keep praying that my appeal will be successful. :D
Alright, before I continue degrading myself and start feeling all stupid and depressed, I'll should just stop here.

CNY was pretty awesome this year, cos I got to catch up with all my cousin plus my dear Sidney over at my dad's side and I totally miss her oh-so-cutesy voice and adorable face! Haha. Went over to KM's and my maternal grandparents place on monday(初一) and over to Aunty LL, CX's and Rox姐姐's place on tuesday(初二). Didn't get as many red packets this year since we hardly visited the extended extended relatives for a reason I do not intend to disclose, but it was totally awesome just sitting around, chatting, having yusheng, screaming the answers to the questions on WHO HAS THE BIGGEST BRAIN/giving words on WORD CHALLENGE on facebook over at CX's place, attempting to play card games, playing with our gonna-turn-3-and-now-real-hyperactive niece, retarded camwhoring(we prolly have more than a hundred snapshots of Sid!)...CARNIVAL III (A joint carnival by ACS(BR) and ACS(P))

And normally I would just forget that
Heyy! Haven't blogged for a week, so I'm here to fill you guys in a bit really briefly :)
Monday: Went down to the office to help type the barcodes. Till now, I'm only half done. Crap. I want to finish it by today...
Tuesday: Piano lessons in the afternoon followed by a trip to the polyclinic. Not fun. ):
Wednesday: Out with YQ to get her CNY clothes from Far East. And she got a vest, a white cute tee, a mini dress...
Thursday: I've decided to follow my parents to Johore for their business trip. And I got two pair of shoes and a pink tee! :P Watched Don't forget the lyrics at night and I thought the contestants' singing are B.L.E.A.R.G.H. Very disappointing... ):
Today: Audition at _________ JC. Which umm, went relatively good, I guess. Haha. Well, I managed to brave the audition and impromptu interview (they said it was only an audition!) whereby they asked like 1,000,001 questions!
Audition: The conductor started with warmups in ascending order and so he tested my high range. After that he asked which section I was in secondary school and when I said alto 2, the teachers + conductors were like "huh?" and stared at me in disbelief. And one of them said "Does your school have too many sops that they put you in alto...". Conductor then tested my low range and...
Interview: 1 word. Insane! Ask me for the details on MSN/call/sms/whatever, I'm not gonna write everything here cos it's too long... Haha :P
But I felt happy enough. Because this time I did try my best, even though I had that phelgmy cough which unfortunately hindered my performance quite a bit. Now I just have to pray that I get through, yet pray that I do not have to appeal to get in. Lol!
Met Sab at PP later on and "walk-walk" for awhile before heading home, and here I am, blogging right now. Haha. :P
I'm feeling really excited now cos I'm meeting my extended family for reunion dinner tomorrow! I SHALL BRING MY CAM! :D *jumps for joyyy!* And BRIDGE! (Ahh, thank you Zhu Yi for teaching KM&I!) I'm TOTALLY EXCITED, as you can see! :P

I'm leaving on a jet plane
I'm really glad I went for the fireside today.
Awesome is an understatement, really. There isn't a word to even describe how the fireside went! :)
Sis Anderson was so spiritual in her thought, and Bro Anderson was really amusing. And and he has this "How Americans view Mormanism" book which is totally RAD with a capital R! :D
And thank you, Amanda Loh and Myra for looking me up after your ward's fireside to talk to me. Haha. And ward conference today was cool :P Food was yumyum (you get good food in church okay!) and Amanda got caught by Pres Lai for snitching food and he said something like "So are you paying tithing to AMK Ward?" Haha. Sorry Mandie, but it was funny :P
Lastly, thank you to all of you for being such wonderful friends, cheering me up when I was feeling so down. Even though I might not have said so right in front of your face(okay, this sounds wrong.), I am really grateful to each and everyone of your concern.
YM: To you, even though it might seem "委屈" for me to drop from a GWH to a Silver Choir (I know you(not YM) are gonna take out that JAE booklet and start flipping to the pages searching for Silver Choirs), I can and will still work my way up.
I'll learn to be strong and face reality. I promise.
And I lovelovelovelovelove being a Mormon!

When I was holidaying in Korea on the 2nd night at Vivaldi Park(Such a cool resort name right?), I had this
dream/nightmare about collecting my results and it showed 14 - 4 and I was
posted to SA. And I was screaming "APPEAL APPEAL!".
Truth
is, with 10 points, I can't even get into SA. -.-
Hardly slept last night. At 3am, I was still wide awake and that was when my phone battery went dead. ):
Geraldine was especially nice today cos for scripture thought today, she picked a scripture verse specially for me.
"Pray always, that you may come off conqueror; yea, that you may conquer
Satan, and that you may escape the hands of the servants of Satan that do uphold

In approx 5 hours, I need to settle down, sink into reality and move on.
And I'll cry for joy, not in sorrow. I know I will.

Have you ever wondered...
15 Hours till the doom hour. It's nerve-wrecking, isn't it?
But like almost every other 16/17 year-old who's probably suffering from insomnia right now, I shall be cliche and say all the best for tomorrow, because you'll never know when a miracle will appear right in front of your eyes.
Mum asked me just now.
Mum: Jesmine, are you going to school after seminary tomorrow?
Me: It's WAY TO EARLY! I'll be there even before the other students arrive!
And my dad found my really really old black shoes in the shoe closet! I was thinking of wearing my pinafore beforehand. Well, I MIGHT probably wear my pinafore to school tomorrow! :D
And I really wanna see my name up on that I've improved by leaps and bounds board. I really do.
And thank you, to everyone who has wished me luck on my journey to doom hour and who have helped me along the way. I'll never forget all of you who have accompanied me along this treacherous journey.
I'll attempt to take a short nap. (Yes, like the almost every other 16/17 year-old who are probably taking 1/6/7/8/9 subjects at 1400h tomorrow, I'm suffering from insomnia and I need to wake up at 4.30am for seminary tomorrow. How antagonizing.)

Waterloo - Couldn't escape if I wanted to
Back from Sis Serene's place! The BBQ food was good, especially the chicken wings! And the missionaries were really funny! Haha :D And Cookie, the carnivore!

Feel the beat from the tambourine
I spent today sitting down in the office, in front of the lappy, furiously rushing out the barcodes since 8am. (and still doing it now! I didn't get to sleep at home today; I'm totally sleep deprived.) I even had breakfast and lunch in front of the same lappy! Super super tiring, and I sat down for almost 9hours (with the exception of a toilet break) and I still can't finish. Bah :( But my aunts were very nice; they were happily stuffing me with food(Macs and ice cream!). Haha :P
And I just realised something dumb.
I CAN'T FIND MY SCHOOL SHOES! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GO BACK TO TKGS ON MONDAY? ):
Anyone kind enough to loan me a pair of black shoes? Size 8/9 :D
Hotmail's having this cyber war with me - it's refusing to let me open my email to look at the photos, so I'll try again tomorrow ):
I'll continue with the barcoding stuff first thing tomorrow morning. Followed by tuition with KM's student (Taking over for a couple of weeks) before going over to Sis Serene's place for the bbq. Haha!

Back from Cityhall! :P
Today was reallyreally fun; lunched with Chun Ling and Jasmine Tan at New York New York (Food's good but ex.). Jasmine was wearing this really cute tee that says I♥YOU (Just kidding) and then she said "This doesn't apply to you." Hahaha :P And thank you for the letter and the present Chun Ling! :) So anyway, we ate and chatted there for more than 2 hours. Haha. I think the waitresses there might have been annoyed.
Walked around aimlessly and chatted at Marina Square after that and sat down at Macs (without buying anything, woopsie!) and continued chatting before more aimless walking. Finally found a place to sit outside Marina Square and camwhore a bit (Pictures are with Chun Ling, will put em' here when she emails them :D) and I found Jasmine's new boyfriend! (He's/It's really really cute :P) before leaving for home.

In short: We'll know when we need to know. Asking me/Making me all tense isn't gonna help. At all.

Anyway, met with Sab to look for her CNY clothes. Initially, she suggested Far East (since she bought her prom dress from there) but we ended up at Bugis Street (since I thought she would get relatively similar clothes at more affordable price, yay! :P) and she ended up buying a top, a dress and a mini cardigan. Haha. And treated me to Tako (to pay up for the commission) before we head back home. Lol. :P
Just watched 小娘惹 and I thought the ending left me hanging in the air quite a bit. I've stil got questions unanswered. Bah. ):

Back from the first day of my last year in Seminary. Lol.
And Jia Xing was happily asking me to do the scripture thought today. -.-
Anyway, when Sis Hoe was giving out the same notebooks we were given out last year, that same year 2 photo that was taken 2 years ago stared straight into my face.
Things that I missed...
I missed the times I had over at bukit timah, especially in Year 1 and 2.
I missed Year 1's class spirit. Very much. (When Seminary was still centralised over at Bukit Timah and there were >25 of us.)
I missed all the crazy jokes that lifted everyone's spirits.
I missed studying the scriptures with the same age group people whom I'm close to.
I missed the very dramatic/amusing/interactive lessons that made us laugh for the entire 45 mins.
I missed the Year 2's birthdayfuneral-sounding song they sang to me during my birthday. (You'll never find anyone else singing birthday songs at 5.45am.)
I missed sitting next to Amanda Xu. (and sometimes getting her to wake up to listen to Sis Helen. Lol!)
I missed doing scripture mastery with plenty and plenty of help from them. With Ying'er and Myra the PROs. :D
I missed catching up homework over at Bukit Timah because I know I can SOS anyone there anytime and they'll be more than willing to help you. (I remember Sis Doreen asking Kenneth Lee to look through/mark some of my homework because I missed too much and had to do so much to cover up to graduate with an 80% attendance. Haha.)
I missed holidays after-seminary hangout time to chill with the most awesome people.
I missed... EVERYTHING over there.
There's so much more I missed, but if I'm gonna write everything down, 2 blog posts wouldn't even be enough.
Feeling nostelgic. I mean, it's really hard not to. Sigh.

I've been living with a shadow overhead
Short update here.
Went back to school yesterday morning with Ee Chien and Sakina to get our Eagles and Good Progress cheques respectively and met up with some of the teachers. When we walked in to the main gate, that ___ security guard was happily calling "Ong Jia Min!". So paiseh, esp. when I'm not in school uniform! o.o Haha. Mrs Chan was commenting about how my clothes, shoes and bag matched and we were all laughing. Not that I ever noticed that. Haha. And Mrs Foo is pregnant! (: Haha. Met Miss Tong and chatted to her for awhile (more like taking away half her recess, sorry!) and she managed to help me find a willing buyer for my Haydn book, but I'm a bit annoyed by the fact that the girls this year managed to buy the book for $19.00/$19.90 at 40% discount. That's at the very LEAST $10 CHEAPER! Can buy 2 meals already ): Trained down and took a shuttle bus with Sakina to Marina Barrage to meet up with Yi Ai, Sab, Sheree, Whimsy and Verity and went around exploring the area before going down to Suntec to play a round of Archery. Lol. It was fun. Haha. Well, lazy to do an update on it since I think most of them already updated on it so, go check out their blogs. Heehee(: And apparently, Travis wasted idk how many smses degrading himself about not being able to sing better than me since I've got voice lessons and he doesn't until my phone batt went completely flat. Lol.
Went down to VJ for choir audition since they msged me yesterday and I realised I need to train alot harder on my mid range because they're not up to standard. (I really want to blame it on morning voice, but I'll rather not deceive myself.) Low range was still decent and high range wasn't as bad as mid range. Lol. Gonna spend an hour a day doing warmups ;P Same to piano too(: Spent the rest of the day lying around at home sleeping, watching telly and reading twilight. Heehee. I want to watch twilight! :P I'm halfway through the book now and it's a good read, especially when you have nothing to do. Heehee(:
Mum's telling me to buy my CNY clothes already. I can't believe CNY's so early this year!
And O level results before that, I'm pretty sure. I've heard loads of 12ths and 15ths already. Lol! Though I'm feeling anxious and all those butterflies in my tummy, I NEED to get the feeling over. Urgh. And get good or at least decent results to get into a decent JC. I'm hoping the Seoul nightmare won't come true - well, actually it probably doesn't even make very much sense. ):

Mama Mia, here I go again

Although you're only 2 months and 8 days older than me, you're still my senior and all the best in your future endeavours and 'A's!
I remember you being one of the few seniors who actually calls me dear, the one who's always there listening to my crazy ramblings. Even though you graduated a year earlier, you still came to look for me whenever you came down to TKGS.
We need to meet up with Chun Ling soon. Before your school starts!
New Year has been great so far, came back from Casey's place at about 1.30pm before slacking/stoning/watching TV/sleeping at the couch. I'm a lazy and tired bum :P Went out with my and KM's family for dinner (well, it's suppose to be goodbye-we'll-miss-you-2008 that was supposed to take place last night instead of a welcome-to-2009 dinner, I suppose). Heehee. I'm feeling a bit paiseh now. *blushes*
Well, just a couple of New Year Resolutions for myself. (In no particular order.)
1. Decent L1R5 to get into a decent JC.
2. Stay strong in the church, go for activities.
3. Get into choir in JC. I really miss singing in choir.
4. Being more self disciplined.
5. Stop screaming like I'm still in TKGS. Haha.
6. Stop whacking people so hard just because they start teasing me. Lol.
7. Manage my time well. I really need to.
8. Decent promo grades.
9. Complete my final year of seminary and the scripture masteries too. I miss seminary lessons at Bukit Timah so much. There's always institute next year :D
10. Attempt to finish at least half of personal progress. Faith, Divine Nature, Knowledge, Choice and Accountability, Good Works, Integrity.
11. To stay happy, blessed and loved like I've been for the past 16 years of my life :)

I'm still feeling high and crazy from last night! And the feeling that my voice's going off fromo all the screaming last night/this morning. Lol! I need my beauty sleep right now.

Happy 2009 (once again!) and Happy Birthday to my bestest senior Samantha Lim!
Although you're only 2 months and 8 days older than me, you're still my senior and all the best in your future endeavours and 'A's!
I remember you being one of the few seniors who actually calls me dear, the one who's always there listening to my crazy ramblings. Even though you graduated a year earlier, you still came to look for me whenever you came down to TKGS.
We need to meet up with Chun Ling soon. Before your school starts!
New Year has been great so far, came back from Casey's place at about 1.30pm before slacking/stoning/watching TV/sleeping at the couch. I'm a lazy and tired bum :P Went out with my and KM's family for dinner (well, it's suppose to be goodbye-we'll-miss-you-2008 that was supposed to take place last night instead of a welcome-to-2009 dinner, I suppose). Heehee. I'm feeling a bit paiseh now. *blushes*
Well, just a couple of New Year Resolutions for myself. (In no particular order.)
1. Decent L1R5 to get into a decent JC.
2. Stay strong in the church, go for activities.
3. Get into choir in JC. I really miss singing in choir.
4. Being more self disciplined.
5. Stop screaming like I'm still in TKGS. Haha.
6. Stop whacking people so hard just because they start teasing me. Lol.
7. Manage my time well. I really need to.
8. Decent promo grades.
9. Complete my final year of seminary and the scripture masteries too. I miss seminary lessons at Bukit Timah so much. There's always institute next year :D
10. Attempt to finish at least half of personal progress. Faith, Divine Nature, Knowledge, Choice and Accountability, Good Works, Integrity.
11. To stay happy, blessed and loved like I've been for the past 16 years of my life :)
12. I'm not telling you. Shh :P (我知道你正在想歪, 不要想歪! :P) Haha.
I'm still feeling high and crazy from last night! And the feeling that my voice's going off fromo all the screaming last night/this morning. What would you expect from a girl who started screaming since 9pm due to all the crazy stuff she did and only falling asleep past 7am in the morning? :P & Jones and Sethrina have been pestering me who I danced with last night/this morning. Lol! I need my beauty sleep right now.
And I need to start pacing my life. Seminary's starting next week, so I've got to refresh my previous routine and start waking up at 4.30am again. Awwwww ):
I just realised that there are 80 people online now. On MSN, to be exact. Wow. Haha :D
& ohmy, it's 12.08am now. I need to meet EC and Sakina later to go to TKGS to get our $150. What a great way to start the new year! *grins* :)

NYE Dance was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS just now, and so was the DECO! :D
I HEART the DECO loads! :D
Fast dance was insane/crazy/nuts because I danced like some crazy lady. And I actually miss Salted Pig like mad. Haha. Slow dance was fun on a whole. Well, the 1st one wasrelatively silent, but I'll forgive him since it's his 1st dance. The other 2 were really fun :D
