Hey! This is Jesmine but there are a thousand and one others out there who calls her Jia Min too! She's (finally) 18 and is more than happy to be showered with gifts on the nineth day of the third month each year. She's currently mugging in Nanyang Junior College with a bunch of cute people in 1002, but she still loves and misses her alma mater, TKGS together with her dearest 4e1 very very much. She ditched her 4-years long CCA, netball, for singing - both in choir and as a soloist (Just don't ask her to sing Don't Cry For Me, Argentina. It's Marisa's new ploy to watch a free show! And I know poor Bren's sick of playing it!) She's been stuck in Alto 2 in choir for a good ol' 5 years while her dearest conductor is still deciding whether to leave her there or transfer her somewhere else, but she takes the performing role of a mezzosoprano as a soloist (and communicate her 3-octave range using her perfect pitch to her rocking friends who in turn gives her nicknames of innate objects such as tuning fork, piano and amplifier. :/) Oops, she nearly forgot to mention that she was a part of the Superwomen(Student Welfare) committee of the Prefectorial Board back in the good ol' TKGS days. She's awesomely proud to be an Latter-Day Saint, and savouring her last year as a Laurel before she gets kicked out of YW. She loves her family and friends to bits, and in her (very little) free time, adores chilling out with her friends, attend concerts, shopping (and window shopping too. Money don't fall from the sky, y'know.), singing, tinkling on the piano, blogging, FBing and there's so much more she'll prolly need a thousand pages for her to fill up her "LOVES&HOBBIES" section. Flowers, cute huggable soft toys, helium balloons and (hand-written) letters and notes are some of her favourite things.♥

PS: I can/can't believe you just spent/wasted 5 minutes of your life reading her introductory speech. Btw, she LOVES people who tag on her tagboard, so do make sure you let her know that you were here! Have an awesome day anyway! (:

Somewhereovertherainbow

Apologies for extremely late post.
Not that I'm in the mood to blog anyway.

Been terribly busy this few weeks, and probably would happen till, end of Os, I guess.
The only great thing I could think of is having the two days off-days yesterday and today.
Back in that shade of green uni tomorrow and off to school ):

HCDSA was pretty terrible for me.
I guess I wasn't prepared, esp. when they bombarded me with those questions.
And Audition was...
Sight-singing was okay, it was the sight-reading and warm ups that were terrible.
I guess that's for not seeing Ms L for such a long time. Lol.

Actually I don't even know if I want to get into HC anymore, it just doesn't feel the same.
I guess my dream to HC died off somewhere.
But I'll still aim for that school, so I pray I wouldn't fall far from it and get into a goodJC if I do well enough. :D
And I don't know if I want to apply anywhere else... D:
But I'm still hoping that I'll get in :D
Pray for me :D

Guess what, I feel quite sad for not applying to TJ D:

And I made a terribleterrible decision last week,
one that made me worry for so long, so hard.
caused me sleepless nights and excessive tears.
but i had to make this painful decision.
to save myself from a terrible ending if i do not attempt to rectify the problem.
i guess i have to think of the bright side now.
ask me; i may not tell.
I guess only a couple of people know.

Okay, to end this on a slightly brighter note (and to make Sethrina veryvery happy since she misses me so much :D ), I'm going for YC. :D

Good things have to be shared huh. Haha.
I found the person who wrote the ridiculous answer for that Haydn essay. (Person shall not be revealed to prevent futhur embarassment :D )

Question: Give an account of Haydn's London Symphonies. Describe how Haydn's Symphony no. 104 is typical of the other symphonies in the collection.

A part of the person's answer: ... Haydn was so rich he even had an affair with another woman (Something like that, but the gist is there.)....


This. has totally no relation to the question at all. LOL!
We sure had a good laugh. Hahaha :D

Moral of the story: Don't write crappyish stuff even if you have little stuff to write. Unless you reallyreally have a blank piece of paper with nothing to write at all. Seriously.
I'm still pretty shocked how he would have thought of writing that statement in the 1st place. LOL!

Taking a breather from studying.
It's so weird, MYEs are over and I'm, studying.(?)
Hang on, I guess it ain't so weird after all.
So recollection of memories from bloghopping :D

mayday iswas haircutting day.
because i guessed at least a fifth of 4/1 people had haircuts. (okay that includes me.)
and i remembered the random question from sab "how long did you cut?" and starts staring at my hair.
winnie was like "i thought public hols are more expensive".
jessica: "you cut your hair? i thought you just decided to let it down?" followed by ee chien's diao look and hysterical laughing :D
wow.
and mrs chan went to cut her hair after that too. lol!

and mdm a was really brave to tell us her uni days, which was really amusing.
it was like, how she was a freshie in her uni days and she asked two guys to if they wanted to go for some freshie party.
and the shoe incident when she was walking and how this guy used nature to fix it and she decided that "this is the guy".
anyway, the guy who fixed her shoe is her husband. LOL!
moralofthestory: play hard to get. HAHA :D
so people were clapping and banging tables and laughing really hard.

MYEs results do not seem very optimistic, as heard from quite a couple of teachers. I have no comments D:

Read Memoirs of a Geisha. I was bored okay. And I can kinda remember a bit on Kabuki and Noh Theatres.
Noh = Serious, Make use of simple props (and the 3pine trees), Usage of Hayashi(I think, or is Kabuki?)
Kabuki = Flamboyant, Elaborate Props, Uses the Nohkan, Drums, Shamisan.

and goose was once again, enjoying her moments of glory insulting people. why does she have to do that, i've no idea. and shilin definitely does not look like a pontianiak(or however you spell it) and i don't think people should get insulting comments from you. especially not in FRONT of the whole class. it's not like you're a good example anyway. and to make things worse, i'm sure you do NOT have a good command for english nor fantastic extremely legible handwriting and i'm sure others would agree with me, so how can you mark down scripts based on "supposingly poor english" and poor handwriting? and i thought you can start a sentence with "Also,.... " this is totally absurd pleaseeee. sab was soextremely infurated/annoyed/whatever about her. and i still don't want to agree with her about the identify question. if a question starts with "identify.... ", doesn't it mean to just state the points without the need for elaboration? what is this coming to, really. *looks pissed and gives QIANBIAN look*
seems like she's the only one who can happily ruin myour day huh.

econs presentation tomorrow, i guess. she wanted us to redo the case study but i am NOT GOING to. this is absurd x9999. i'm sure we did the right thing. i'm sure. because since when rising food prices is not a market failure huh? and basic food necessities is a positive externality and i'm pretty sure it is. tell me if i'm wrong.

goodness me, just mentioning her can get me all flared up. urgh. D: i shall stop before i go nuts.

p/s: did i say once again, that i cut my hair :DD but i don't like DA CURLS? D:
