Hey! This is Jesmine but there are a thousand and one others out there who calls her Jia Min too! She's (finally) 18 and is more than happy to be showered with gifts on the nineth day of the third month each year. She's currently mugging in Nanyang Junior College with a bunch of cute people in 1002, but she still loves and misses her alma mater, TKGS together with her dearest 4e1 very very much. She ditched her 4-years long CCA, netball, for singing - both in choir and as a soloist (Just don't ask her to sing Don't Cry For Me, Argentina. It's Marisa's new ploy to watch a free show! And I know poor Bren's sick of playing it!) She's been stuck in Alto 2 in choir for a good ol' 5 years while her dearest conductor is still deciding whether to leave her there or transfer her somewhere else, but she takes the performing role of a mezzosoprano as a soloist (and communicate her 3-octave range using her perfect pitch to her rocking friends who in turn gives her nicknames of innate objects such as tuning fork, piano and amplifier. :/) Oops, she nearly forgot to mention that she was a part of the Superwomen(Student Welfare) committee of the Prefectorial Board back in the good ol' TKGS days. She's awesomely proud to be an Latter-Day Saint, and savouring her last year as a Laurel before she gets kicked out of YW. She loves her family and friends to bits, and in her (very little) free time, adores chilling out with her friends, attend concerts, shopping (and window shopping too. Money don't fall from the sky, y'know.), singing, tinkling on the piano, blogging, FBing and there's so much more she'll prolly need a thousand pages for her to fill up her "LOVES&HOBBIES" section. Flowers, cute huggable soft toys, helium balloons and (hand-written) letters and notes are some of her favourite things.♥

PS: I can/can't believe you just spent/wasted 5 minutes of your life reading her introductory speech. Btw, she LOVES people who tag on her tagboard, so do make sure you let her know that you were here! Have an awesome day anyway! (:

I'm feeling very weird cauz I haven't blogged for at least a week, i guess. >.<
Anyway, shall start with Saturday.
Had the choir "competition" in the morning at HCI.
Quite a number of schools participated - St Nicks, Bukit Panjang Govt. High, Nan Chiau, Boon Lay, ACS(I), NJC, CCHM, Nanyang Girls', Fairfield Methodist, Ngee Ann, HCI & lastly TKG :D
Then comes the performance. Blahblahblah.
TK's the last to perform.
I was feeling very scared when NY performed. No particular reason why though. >.< But after their performance, I was feeling more calm. Heh(:
About the performance:
Three ways to vacuum your house (Part Three): I thought we did quite okay for this song, though we rushed alot. and I mean ALOT. But besides that, it's pretty okay.
Sakura: I thought we screwed the whole thing up. From part C or D. Plusplus I was shaking on stage. As in shaking out of fear. Probably the side effect of not performing for such a long time!
After performance was a short break for Mr Meng to finish up his comments before the comments and results.
So comments. Blahblahblah.
For vacuum song, he felt that we(TK) had the most convincing(i hope i used the right word) performance though our vocal production was not the best. Sakura was pretty okay too, if I'm not wrong.
And we got third! GOLD :D Yay :D But congrats to the rest too! HC for being 1st, NJ for being 2nd & St Nicks for being 4th! :D
Went to PP with Deb Shihan Gloria Y3 & Fiona. Lunched at Macs followed by getting the seniors' presents. Shall not say what we did, but I hope it'll be a pleasant surprise, though I won't be there to see their reactions. :D Haha(:

Shall talk abour work attachment another day. I'm tired. :D

EXTREMELY LONG POST!

My hiatus is FINALLY OVER! (goodbye exams! :D)
so here comes the really loooooong(i hope), crazy&mad blog post that I promised :D

Shall start off with the day whereby Deb, Bren&Fiona came to my house(I think I blogged about this before, but I'll just blog again and put in the pics now :D)

Okay, so they came to my house with the PURE INTENTION to study. And ended up eating B&J's ice cream(which is totally the LOVE) and fool around a bit. But okay, at least we DID study. ^^

Next on the list is class BBQ! It started by pouring! :X And so we had to BBQ with umbrellas on top of us, which was a little wacky, and yea... But still fun. And we had a lot of help from the other family who was also bbqing! Thank you! :D Haha. And some of us went to the function room to play murder. LOL xP But we went out again to help with the BBQing, so yay :D

Saturday! Went for the concert 'from Beethoven to Borodin" @ VCH @ 11am. Again. MYRA LAI was LATEEE :X And we forgot to buy flower :X Sorry): Anyway, I was kinda surprised that Suzanna was performing there too! LOL(: I liked the Christmas mashup style, the Beethoven movt no1&2. and SLEIGH RIDE! : DD Lunched at Pastamania with Myra, Marie, Ying'er, Shuan & Han @ Cineleisure. Took neos after that and had some weird patterns on Myra's tee cos she was wearing a green tee & therefore the background pattern was on her tee. LOL. But it was quite nice still, actually. LOL! And I think we looked like we went for PLASTIC SURGERY >.<>

I shooked! Sorry! >.<

Had class jacket today! It's quite nice. Brand's DIADORA. But I would still like it better if the orange was changed to lime green. Heh(:
WTG was quite nice in the beginning, but became rather boring after the 1st round. >.<>
