Hey! This is Jesmine but there are a thousand and one others out there who calls her Jia Min too! She's (finally) 18 and is more than happy to be showered with gifts on the nineth day of the third month each year. She's currently mugging in Nanyang Junior College with a bunch of cute people in 1002, but she still loves and misses her alma mater, TKGS together with her dearest 4e1 very very much. She ditched her 4-years long CCA, netball, for singing - both in choir and as a soloist (Just don't ask her to sing Don't Cry For Me, Argentina. It's Marisa's new ploy to watch a free show! And I know poor Bren's sick of playing it!) She's been stuck in Alto 2 in choir for a good ol' 5 years while her dearest conductor is still deciding whether to leave her there or transfer her somewhere else, but she takes the performing role of a mezzosoprano as a soloist (and communicate her 3-octave range using her perfect pitch to her rocking friends who in turn gives her nicknames of innate objects such as tuning fork, piano and amplifier. :/) Oops, she nearly forgot to mention that she was a part of the Superwomen(Student Welfare) committee of the Prefectorial Board back in the good ol' TKGS days. She's awesomely proud to be an Latter-Day Saint, and savouring her last year as a Laurel before she gets kicked out of YW. She loves her family and friends to bits, and in her (very little) free time, adores chilling out with her friends, attend concerts, shopping (and window shopping too. Money don't fall from the sky, y'know.), singing, tinkling on the piano, blogging, FBing and there's so much more she'll prolly need a thousand pages for her to fill up her "LOVES&HOBBIES" section. Flowers, cute huggable soft toys, helium balloons and (hand-written) letters and notes are some of her favourite things.♥

PS: I can/can't believe you just spent/wasted 5 minutes of your life reading her introductory speech. Btw, she LOVES people who tag on her tagboard, so do make sure you let her know that you were here! Have an awesome day anyway! (:

Just when I stopped opening doors, finally knowing the one that I wanted was yours

20.09.2009
TWELVEDAYS to promos.
You don't believe this, neither can I.
WHAT AM I DOING HERE WHEN I SHOULD BE ON A HIATUS? :/
*sighs*

Changed blogskin, I guess it's a refreshing change for everyone since that one lasted for at least half a year. Haha. :) Hope everyone likes this as much as the previous one. :)

Anyway, there was a day where some of the choir exco members were coming back from dinner when Gab and I were talking and we came up with this really amusing conversation that goes something like this:
Gab: I can neither sing bass nor tenor, that's why I'm still stuck as a
baritone!
Me: I'm placed in alto but my ex-voice teacher said that I'm a mezzosop, which means I can neither sing high nor low either!
Gab: No wonder we have to conduct in front, because we can't sing any of the parts!

HAHA. Okay, if you didn't get the joke, nevermind.
But still, lol! :)

Night studies in school has been productive so far, and thanks to Oli, Gabchew, Simon, JY and David for staying back till 10plus on friday! :)
PLUS, we have our OFFICIAL CHOIR ROOM NOW! YAY! :)
Which is carpeted, soundproofed, clean and awesome! Not all the deco's done yet, but I'm so happy about it! :/

Alright, till then, I shall leave you with an awesome broadway song.

SEND IN THE CLOWN♥
Isn't it rich?
Are we a pair?
Me here at last on the ground,
You in mid-air.
Send in the clowns.

Isn't it bliss?
Don't you approve?
One who keeps tearing around,
One who can't move.
Where are the clowns?
Send in the clowns.

Just when I'd stopped opening doors,
Finally knowing the one that I wanted was yours,
Making my entrance again with my usual flair,
Sure of my lines,
No one is there.

Don't you love farce?
My fault I fear.
I thought that you'd want what I want.
Sorry, my dear.
But where are the clowns?
Quick, send in the clowns.
Don't bother, they're here.

Isn't it rich?
Isn't it queer,
Losing my timing this late
In my career?
And where are the clowns?
There ought to be clowns.
Well, maybe next year.

HALLOWEEN DANCE ON THE 30th OCTOBER 2009.
Sounds like a pretty interesting idea, hope I can make it. Haha.
Who else's going anyway, cos I know most of the sec4 kids aren't going as they're in the midst of the 'O's. ): TAG ON MY TAGBOARD/SMS ME IF YOU'RE GOING OKAY! HAHA! :)

I'm very, very exhausted. Maybe tonight will be the first night in ages I'll hit the bed before 9pm. :)
And Selamat Hari Raya to my dearest Muslim friends! Hope you guys are having fun! :D
This time, I'll GENUINELY go on a HIATUS, so try not too miss my presence too much on blogsphere till the 13th October! :)

Czech & *'s keeping me motivated and pushing me to mug for promos.
I'll make sure I don't miss another opportunity again.
Xoxo.

Don't tell me the same reason as you did yesterday

222nd post! (According to blogger's post.)

I've got it sorted. I've got it all figured. For now till 13th October, my mind will only be filled with Promos, and just promos. (Okay, PW too.) And that is all. I will not let my mind wander aimlessly wasting my brain power fretting over other stuff.

The September holidays have been rather fruitful. Study dates almost everyday (with the exception of yesterday, I suppose.) got me mugging my arse off. But I've still got a thousand and one stuff not done! :/ PW's still being a bane in my life; don't remember if I mentioned this, but EoM V3 got me an ME grade, but I still need to put in a lot more ideas. I seriously HATEHATEHATE WR, but I'm sure I'll get it done (close-to-)perfect soon. Extra math lessons at NY on wednesday, before heading to church (really, really early) for the ventriloquist show over at SSC. Reached the back building at about 4ish 5, had late lunch before going over to SSC in one of the rooms on the 2nd floor to wait and type out the WR draft outline for my groupmates. Shuan found me at about 6ish and we started chatting (I was bored with WR anyway, I know it was a good getaway xP). His mum popped over at about 7 to get him to buy paper cups so we went to 7eleven and Chancery Court(Or was it Balmoral Plaza? I forgot :/ I think it's cold storage in there. And the cups were cheaper!) to get them before heading back to church for the show. Michiyo saw us talking after that and she thought we were dating. (And still not convinced till today that we aren't. Haha!) :/ Lol! Shuan's reaction was totally priceless after that. HAHAHAHAHA! Anyway, Bro Randell McGhee was awesome with his dragon! Met the Amandas after their institute and we took photos with Hui Yi and Myra after the show. Salted Pig couldn't find company for dinner; I'm so sorry dearie, I would have loved to catch up with you and all but my parents were there and wanted me to leave with them. Catch up some other time yea? Miss you! ): And the rest of you too!

The song we sang for the baptism today was pretty good too! (: (For a one friday effort, good job everyone!) Love you girls loads! :) Friday was crazy, the 7 of us girls squeezed into Bishop's car to church, (and we made it there in the end, despite the crazy leg cramps :/)

Choir's planning for a competition trip to Czech. But it's 3000bucks (excluding subsidies and shopping money.), though I really really wanna go. I need to make a good decision. Maybe I need to compromise with the parental unit. :) And we're in the midst of planning for next year's concert which is totally awesome and will totally be awesome. Will let you guys know when more details are out and must support and attend okay? Haha. :P

Tag replies:

Mandaloh: Jiayou for prelims too alright! I'm sure you'll do fine for the big 'A's!

Oli: You haven't uploaded the pictures yet! ): (Okay, neither have I. Heh.)

Alvie: Lol! No comments though. Haha.

Bren: Ah yes, it's the AVT. Urgh I think my brain's getting fried :/

Deb: Oh! Remember to bring boxes of tissues; you'll need em'. Heh. Miss you too! Meetup after your 'O's okay! :)
Aye, I want to go to ECP, class meetups, lunch/dinner meetups with friends, Ice-crem chef, shopping trips, camming sessions, movie marathons after Promos/PW! Can't wait for them to be over! But for now, I need to mug and ensure I'll get PROMOTED TO J2 FIRST! Sigh. ):

Okay, I'm going back to the mugging mode. Till 13th October, goodbye blogger; I'm going on a hiatus and don't miss me too much! (Continue tagging on my blog though. Haha!)

My head is saying "fool, forget him",
My heart is saying "don't let go"
Hold on to the end,
That's what I intend to do
I'm hopelessly devoted to you

But now there's nowhere to hide,
Since you pushed my love aside
I'm not in my head,
Hopelessly devoted to you

I won't cry as much as I did for you like I did yesterday
because I don't wanna fall for you as hard as I did again.

Xoxo.

If you ever lose your way,

I'm done with EoM Version 3 (and sent it to BWong via email - thank goodness for such a flexible PW teacher!) plus I just woke up from my nap since 7ish (after I reached home and showered.) Maybe that's why I'm feeling pretty much hyped up right now. (:

Well, the reason why I woke up is because I've got Electrochem tutorial+exercise to be done and my class' down with extra Chem tutorial at 8 in the morning with Mr O. (Gloat at my misery, I'll understand anyway) O.o
I should be positive and agree with Kang Wei's smses (Well, he msged them in March, but I guess it still applies right now. Haha!):
"Well, at least you will get to love your school more. The teachers are very dedicated too I guess. They love you all xD Even when it's the school holidays now." (I had to go back to school every single day during my March hols.)
Well, at least I don't have to go back EVERYSINGLEDAY during the september hols (HIPHIHURRAY for that!), but still, a date with Chemistry at 8am in the morning doesn't sound very appealing huh.

I realised I've gotta play the piano for the Primary on Sunday, and I haven't started practicing a single piece. Same goes to Fiona voice pieces, and I'm still looking out for the piano book because Gramacy doesn't have stock.

And I TOTALLY NEED TO CHEM RIGHT NOW OR I'LL NEVER FINISH IT EVEN AT 4AM IN THE MORNING! (That's my goal. Heh.)
(I know this is a short random post and I've no idea what on earth I'm blabbering about. Boo. Heh :D)
Okay goodnight dearies! :D

If you ever lose your way, my love will take you home.

Xoxo.
