Let's get loud

Oh I've finally gotten over even thursday's timetable, which is officially the worst worst worst day ever when your timetable goes as such:
0730-0830 Bio Tutorial
0830-0900 Break
0900-1000 Math Lecture
1000-1100 Chem Lecture
1100-1200 CT
1200-1230 Break
1230-1330 Math Tutorial
1330-1430 GP
1430-1530 Econs Tutorial
So to sum it up, I practically have almost every subject (with the exception of PE and PW) and they're in consecutive hours I nearly had no time to breathe. Moreover I was (and am) overly exhausted cos I came home past 11pm last night, had dinner at 11plus and started work close to midnight. (Which goes to say I hardly had any sleep.)

Speaking of PW, I'm so sick and tired of doing PI. As in, half of me just feel like giving up on it completely, but I don't wanna be stuck with a high ME/low EE (terribly terrible) when almost everyone else can get at the very least an EE. And well, the only reason why I'm still online right now is because I'm waiting for my PI to be emailed back, which is taking ages (okay, 2hours, fine.)! D: Or maybe he didn't receive my email? Maybe I should consider sending it again... Okay maybe I shouldn't be too impatient (since I've no idea how many classes he's taking...) I guess I wouldn't be THIS impatient if it wasn't a part of A levels.

5 days to SYF. It's becoming really nerve-wrecking, but I'm sure NYJChoir will give their all (okay, minus the flatness/sharpness)! :D Andand, stuff for SYF - No spectacles (which means contact lenses), trimming of eye brows, hairstyle, makeup... Ohgoodness, I feel more like I'm going for prom than SYF, seriously. HAHA.
Things to do before SYF:
1. Buy contact lenses. (Anyone knows where they sell contact lenses by the piece (daily)? I don't wanna buy the entire box!)
2. Get compact powder/foundation
3. Get eyebrows trimmed
o.o

Anyway, I was about to forget to mention. Yesterday morning, just as we finished temperature taking exercise in our home rooms, the P came in and said "You're gonna be filmed by Mediacorp for temperature taking." and we just sat there shocked for a couple of moments before laughing out and the camera man came in with videocam and started taping us while we 'did' the entire exercise again. Unfortunately, I think we didn't look genuinely serious enough (actually we probably giggled/laughed through half of the filming) SO WE HAD TO DO IT AGAIN! Thus, we ended up taking our temperatures 3 times! So GG o.o And it was shown during the 10pm news on channelnewsasia/channel U yesterday. So if you saw me, please don't laugh.
(Moral of the story: Don't ever ever ever ever sit at the 1st row, cos you'll never know what surprises will spring onto you.)

Accompanied Az to get her contacts and Souless to get his bag (which had a discount but he used up all the cash in his wallet) at amkhub just now. I'm officially exhaused. HAHAHA.

Woah, pretty decent post huh. Haha.
Shall wait for my dear PI email from Mr W. now. HAHAHA.

PS: Leslie's HAHA ban has been lifted. I kinda figured that it's scary when he doesn't say haha. HAHA. xD

YES MY PI's FINALLY APPROVED! *DANCES AROUND LIKE CRAZY*. Woah, I'm finally through with that crap after at least 6 drafts. (or 7) 6 DRAFTS!!! Ohmygoodness how did I even survive the last 6 weeks doing PI versions over and over again?! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! :D

Some people are just out to make me annoyed,

But honestly, I can't wait for SYF to come.
I think Mr. C and T.T. are really bringing this choir to greater heights, not forgetting the choristers and the teachers who are putting in the effort to get work done too. Yay. I really sense improvement. :D
(I think my only worry is that we'll peak at the wrong time. PLEASE DO NOT HAPPEN! D:)
And Kenneth T. has reminded me yesterday that it's 9days to SYF. Which means 8days from today.
SO GO NANYANG CHORALE! xD

I've been watching, observing for the last close-to-3 months and I begin to have a taste of what life is all about. There are a couple of stuff that I really need to get off my chest, and if you do feel offended reading the following (which I really have no idea how you would feel offended, but nevermind), please get a life and leave since it's my blog and I have my rights to post my comments on how I feel.

Watching political plays, coupled with backstabbing and all just to get what you want. Is it really necessary? It's pretty much heart-wrenching hearing groups of people backbiting others.

To err is humane, if you don't, you aren't human. People learn through experience, don't they? Perfection's an art that doesn't fall from the sky nor changed over night. Is there no way

Also, I can never understand why there are certain individuals act as self-professed elitists, when they really aren't. As much as I love and communicate well with most of my friends, the actions of several aquaintances do leave me hanging in the air. Why the air of superiority when you're just another kid I meet? I don't see why people have to act according to your every whim and fancy, be used as punchbags to your kiddy tantrums when you're feeling annoyed, especially when you're no big shot.

I hope you'll spend time reflecting about your own behaviour before judging others.

But the sad thing is, you probably don't even know who I'm talking about.

Go figure.

If as thou dost melt, and with thy train of drops make soft the earth

Pre-SYF performance for the J1 batch during assembly today, and I'm pretty happy with our performance today (okay, apart from absolutely sharp for both songs and rushing t the max, esp. for dumbelle, but the audience were impressed by the bullet-train speed we were performing at, I guess they might have hyperventilated if we went any faster!). I finally see a glimmer of hope that we may get a gold this year, provided we chiong and sing better than today's performance. :D
Anyway, Monday's really amusing. Serene and I were having choir practice and anxiously waiting for St Nicks and TKGS' choir SYF results! Haha. Serene's results came first, mine was probably close to half an hour later, but we were so freaking happy(though we weren't a part of it)! AHHHHHH :D And I had so many seniors who went to watch TKG'S SYF and they said that their performance was best among everyone else that day and TOTALLY DESERVING OF THAT GWH! :D YAY :) REALLY REALLY PROUD OF YOU GUYS! :D

Anyway we were released earlier today, so Charmaine, YJ, Gloria and I had beancurd which was fabooooo before coming home.

And my PI's currently a high ME/low EE. I need to improve on it! AHHH D:
And havc I mentioned that my PW group's a 4-girls power group with a cute mascot called Pink Spongebob and groupmates known as Chinny, Lynny and Leneny. :D
Totally exhausted, but happy. Shall get my chem notes printed out right now. :D
By the way, I got pretty much of my voice back. Just that it sounds quite airy cos my sore throat isn't really over yet. But still, yay me :D
By the other way, take care Ruth! Hope you'll get your voice back soon and you'll be singing once again!

I was close to tearing as President Monson spoke about a widowed mother who lost all 4 of her young children (with the youngest being an infant and the eldest 7 years of age) as they made their way towards their destination with what little possession they had (including a couple of very thin blankets and a metal spoon which was used to dig 3/4 of her children's graves) under extreme freezing temperature, yet she never lost hope about reaching her destination or acted rashly with regards to her life.

How she could stay so strong, I know not. All I know is that I want to learn from her.

Cry me a river

I understand April the 1st is April Fool's Day, but I had no idea my April Fool's would have been extended this long. (It's already the 10th Apr, if you're still hibernating underground in Antarctica.)

During Econs Tutorial yesterday:

HY: What did you get for PW?
Me: *stares at him for a moment to catch his question before giving him the STARE* I AM NOT A RETAINEE!
(Alvie attempts to make me chill while the rest of the class broke into fits of laughter.)
HY: Really meh? But I thought someone told me. Or did you tell me?
Me: T.T
...
...
HY: Really ah?! I thought you were my senior, that's why I respected you alot!
Me: ...
(FYI, he shakes his body/say random stuff when I meet him most of the time.)

I am totally unimpressed how I've been sitting in front of him during PW tutorials and him still being his sotong self. Sigh.

And I happened to be talking to XT a couple of days ago who wanted to step down from his CT rep position cos he felt that he can't cope with academia.
So he said:
"If I pass Chem LT, I'll buy you a drink.
If I fail, you become the ACT rep."
Val said, "Bad exchange. Go back and change your proposal before coming back.". Haha.

SYF's less than a month away and I'm really really nervous about it. Songs-wise, I guess I'm pretty alright with them, just require a little tuning-up for dynamics and rhythm(for SOJ). But I need a lot, a lot more exposure for stage presence(I feel like I'm losing it slowly... NOOOO!) This is one of those rare moments where I think back and attempts to remember how much sweat and pain I had to put in for SYF'07(I miss the GWH title D:) and Grade 6 Trinity Voice Exam(Still can't believe I could even pass it, but ohwell) last year to produce a relatively decent (or not?) sound to get decent results and grades. I need to train my voice! My midrange is still as disgusting as ever, especially when I have to sing to ahhh and some other weird vowels.

I received an sms yesterday, and I've no idea how to react to it. Half of me was feeling numb, yet the other half of me made me feel that I wanted to try something else. But it's alright, it's not comfirmed yet, so technically, I'm still pretty safe(I guess.). BUT HOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW? ):

Meeting Shi Han tmr (for the 1st time ever since we parted from TKG, and she initiated this!) at t. bus-stop. Missed her truckloads ever since she dumped me for TJ. Haha. Too bad Gloria ain't coming. D:

And Cookie's treating me to dinner tmr night! WHEEEE! HAHA. xP

Some of the events that occurred during my March holidays (which was at least 2 weeks ago), hence apologies for the very late photo post. (Especially to those who were eagerly waiting to kope the pictures from me. HAHAHA.) And credits to Kandace and Ally for the dance photos, which are awesome! :)

School's been terribly, terribly busy and time seems to be passing by so quickly, too quickly for me to even notice. Every single day's passing by so quickly, I'm becoming numb to time. Sometimes I even wonder how some people are able to blog on a daily basis given such a hectic schedule... Supermen/women! Haha. Anyway, just returned home from choir awhile ago and I'm super exhausted yet I'm online, attempting to conjure and refine my ideas for PI. ):

And I don't have to guess who you are, cause you're the only one who was happily bombarding me with Hokkien songs and happily getting yourself drenched during orientation, Chen Jia Ning. HAHAHA.

Nostelgic. I really want to turn time backwards and live life over again. And perhaps, it's time for me to pick up the broken pieces and piece them together again. It'll be for good, I promise.
