Well, it's the 31st of December 2008. Fast, isn't it? I was just pondering a bit, and I realise I had plenty to be grateful for. Like CX smsed me last year, this year was a "fast train ride to exams". Though it wasn't an easy journey due to 'Os' and all, there were many many people helping me and staying by my side to overcome my darkest fears with me. I guess my only wish now is to get into a decent JC next year.

One sentence doesn't do justice to you guys, but I truthfully appreciate every single thing you guys have done for me that words alone cannot tell. :D
Alto 2 2007-2008: Thank you for being such a cooperative batch, listening to me teach, even though I may be kan cheong to the max/boring/lousy/too slow like a tortise/too fast for you to even get a quarter of the stuff I said/anything else you can think of. I'm really grateful that you all have been such wonderful juniors/peers! I hope you guys will improve by leaps and bounds and ATB for SYF 2009! :D
OLP 2007-2008: Though we hardly talk/respond and leave the teachers hanging there during lessontime, I had fun knowing most of you guys better, esp when I had to call/sms/MSN you guys for the bbq and on the actual bbq itself! Haha. Thank you for being such a nice batch of friends :D
TKGPB: I'll never forget the experiences I gained during investitures, conferences, service projects, etc with you guys. It has been a thrilling experience to be a part of the board, and SW rocks the house, always. :P

Anyway, spent New Year Eve's Eve's Eve buying the deco with Casey, Gayle, Galvin and Bryan and New Year Eve's Eve doing up the deco for New Year Eve's Dance with Gayle, Galvin, Marisa, Bryan, DJ and her brother and it was really fun (Except the cleaning up part. The paint smell was so terrible, Marisa was happily spraying Gayle's grape-smelling Victoria Secret's perfume around the entire 2nd floor. Heehee). I'm sure we did a great job, and hope everyone enjoys tonight :D

Can't wait for tonight. Dance followed by Slumber over at Casey's! :D
I know you're probably wondering why I'm so excited - it's because this is the first NYE Dance I'm attending. (There weren't any NYE Dance for the past 2 years, most unfortunately.) so yea :P

Zhu Yi's Chalet last night at Aranda Country Club was a blast, more details tomorrow. Heh :P

Played a few games of cheat, black jack and learning how to play bridge with KM, Zhu Yi and Zhu Neng in the room at around 11pm. Lol. And we played a few screwed bridge games. Haha. Till 1am plus. Lol. But it was really really fun. :D

I'm falling in love with bridge :P Someone, play with me! :D

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas

Back from sleepover, feeling really really tired now, but it was totally awesome. Haha. Shall blog about it later.

I shall start with my wayyyy overdue Korea trip. Well, at least the first few days of my trip. It was totally awesome, except for 3 sad facts.

1. It didn't snow throughout my entire trip there, so I only got to see artificial snow. Oh well.
2. I fell sick on one of the days. Which nearly ruined my entire trip.
3. I HATE KIMCHI! I HATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATE KIMCHI. (Point taken.)

Basically 7 out of the 9 days was tagging along with the tour group, and the last 2 days were free and easy, so shopping time! :D Bought quite a fair bit of stuff - cosmetics, clothes (though it was winter), food, accessories, etc. I didn't get the Korean ginseng though - didn't enjoy the taste of it 0.0 (okay, I'm weird).

Stuff I did there: shopping, skiing (On artificial snow, sadly), camwhoring, scenery viewing, watched Nanta.

I love the weather there, though it wasn't snowing. Cool. And I didn't get frostbite or anything. Haha. I'm going into the lame mode already. Haha.

More in-depth details of the trip will come in later.

Next in line was the sleepover at Myra's. Reallyreally fun. I was the first one to conk off at 5plus in the morning, followed by Ally, Myra and Amanda (at 7plus). So basically we played the game of life, chatted, dinnered, more chats that seemed more like gsp-ing over a cup of hot cocoa and banana chips, watched Bewitched till I fell asleep in front of the telly. Haha. And in the morning, Amanda confessed she took an unglam picture of me sleeping. o.o And I woke up at 6plus in the morning to realise that I was the only one sleeping in the living room. I went back to sleep in the guestroom/studyroom. I GOT THE BED! Haha. Okay, that was random.

Well, this was the only group pictures I have of us. I shall wait for them to send me the rest. Hahahahaha :D

Anyway, on my trainride back from Sembawang today (yes, it's reallyreally long. haha), I had a really long train of thoughts bombarding my mind. I really don't know why, but I guess I managed to sort out my thinking quite a bit. I'm happy :D

Alright, I'm hoping for something unusual to happen tomorrow. Which is going to come in 1hour and 12mins. Lol. Or it'll be a sad and boring Christmas ): Mehhh.

And I just received an email from Jane and an sms from Sab that the cards have reached em'. So I haven't ran in vain on monday :P I'm really happy!

You're not winnin' till you're winnin', winnin' me.

I'm sooooooo glad I finally posted out those letters! I had to run to the mailbox at 4.50pm so I'll reach before 5pm to mail them. Terribly beat now, but really glad I've one main task completed. :) I hope they'll reach everyone before Chrismas.

Anyway, today, I made 3 batches of brownies too. I was baking on my own for the veryvery first time(Well, Fiona taught me how to bake brownies, thankyou :P)! For a first timer, they came out pretty well :D Jace loved em' so much he requested for 5 batches. Though he assured me he would finish all 5 batches, I didn't give in to him. Haha. :P

Sleepover at Myra's tomorrow. Can't wait! :D

Ward Christmas Party was quite okay. Though I was quivering a little when I sang the duet with Cookie. I need to practice my solo and choir voice! (okay, somehow it sounds weird, but nevermind.)
Will blog tomorrow. :P Need to sleep now; it's 12.08am, or I'll never be able to wake up early enough to attend church at 9am. Sometimes I wished BTC/SSC was near my home, not at Newton, but ohwell.

Someday I wish upon a star

I'm back! :D
I know you missed me. (I'm being so egoistic huh :P)

Well, apart from the fact that it wasn't snowing(literally), Korea was a blast. Really. I'll give a long account about it real soon because I'm feeling pretty tired now. I have a thousand plus photos which I really don't know how to post up either here or facebook. I'll try :D

If you're really THAT impatient and die die MUST see the Korea photos now, my brother has uploaded some on FB already :P

Anyway, I had 2 pleasant surprises in the mailbox.

1. Last night, I received this particular Christmas Card which was really really nice. Well, what made it really surprising was the sender. I mean, I don't remember giving her my add or something so I've no idea how she got it anyway but a million and one thanks to KAHMIN :D Loves! :D

2. The 2nd letter was more of a shock. Okay, a good shock. Actually I wasn't the one to open the letter but still. I was still tired this morning when my parents were opening up all the letters when they saw this particular letter and decided to open it up.(which is invasion of privacy!!! D: ) Anyway, to keep things short, it was that EAGLES award letter. I was SOOOOOOOO HAPPYYYYYYYYYYYY, I WANTED TO JUMP FOR JOY AND START SCREAMINGG!!!!!!!!!! Haha. Okay, I'm going high already. I really wasn't expecting it. Perhaps everyone in the comm got it and I'm just over reacting, but I'm happy and that's good enough :D I'm $150 richer. Yay :D

Anyway, my passport photo looked more like a guy with my hair tied up, so my dad was telling me to tie up my hair and remove my specs when I leave on tues so that I'll look more like the photo in my passport. Haha.

And I got the Christmas cards already! Yay :D I'm gonna write and send the 1st batch out tomorrow/tuesday (well, it'll be posted out by tuesday due to a certain someone who lives so far away and I've no idea how long it'll take to reach to her o.o)

Like a comet pulled from orbit, as it passes a sun

Anyway, went to Fiona's place today to learn to bake brownies and it was really really fun though brownies didn't exactly turn out fantastic. Tasted good though. And phototaking of the package stuff for Fiona and Tracy :P So I'm gonna bake brownies for people for Christmas this year. Yay. Good luck to people who are gonna get my brownies this year. :D

I need to buy cards soon. I need to send them out soon. I need to finish packing out my luggage. I need to buy ingredients to bake brownies. I need to do my personal progress... Ahhhh. I've got plenty of things to do.

I shall drift off to lalaland now. Stake YW Mutual tmr. Yayyyy :P Though it's 9 in the morning 0.0

Okay, on second thought, I'm gonna do 1 Value Experience, clear some of my books/worksheets to sell to the Rag-and-Bone guy unless you want to buy it (To get some moolah & stop being annoyed by the parental units about it - killing two birds with one stone huh :D), go to Fiona's place to learn how to bake (yay!) and out with my parents this evening to get more stuff for the Seoul trip.

If you're wondering why I have to sell most of my books off, my brother's combination's almost different from mine. Apart from the subjects everyone has to take.

Me: EL, HCL, Bio, Chem, AM, EM, Music O Level, CH(SS/Geog E), (And I still have my Econs TB, but not selling it)
Him: EL, CL, Comb Sci (Phy/Chem), AM, EM, CH(SS/Hist E)

Short post today cos I'm pretty worn out. Out to Dhoby Ghaut and City Hall with Yiying today. Bowling (Won 2 out of the 3 games, haha) and Arcading (I just realised my drumming skills isn'r that bad after all :P). My limbs hurt quite a bit now, thanks Yappie.

Took a few photos of Yiying (Since I was the photographer) and she wants it, so I'll post it another day since she made me so tired. Haha.
