Hey! This is Jesmine but there are a thousand and one others out there who calls her Jia Min too! She's (finally) 18 and is more than happy to be showered with gifts on the nineth day of the third month each year. She's currently mugging in Nanyang Junior College with a bunch of cute people in 1002, but she still loves and misses her alma mater, TKGS together with her dearest 4e1 very very much. She ditched her 4-years long CCA, netball, for singing - both in choir and as a soloist (Just don't ask her to sing Don't Cry For Me, Argentina. It's Marisa's new ploy to watch a free show! And I know poor Bren's sick of playing it!) She's been stuck in Alto 2 in choir for a good ol' 5 years while her dearest conductor is still deciding whether to leave her there or transfer her somewhere else, but she takes the performing role of a mezzosoprano as a soloist (and communicate her 3-octave range using her perfect pitch to her rocking friends who in turn gives her nicknames of innate objects such as tuning fork, piano and amplifier. :/) Oops, she nearly forgot to mention that she was a part of the Superwomen(Student Welfare) committee of the Prefectorial Board back in the good ol' TKGS days. She's awesomely proud to be an Latter-Day Saint, and savouring her last year as a Laurel before she gets kicked out of YW. She loves her family and friends to bits, and in her (very little) free time, adores chilling out with her friends, attend concerts, shopping (and window shopping too. Money don't fall from the sky, y'know.), singing, tinkling on the piano, blogging, FBing and there's so much more she'll prolly need a thousand pages for her to fill up her "LOVES&HOBBIES" section. Flowers, cute huggable soft toys, helium balloons and (hand-written) letters and notes are some of her favourite things.♥

PS: I can/can't believe you just spent/wasted 5 minutes of your life reading her introductory speech. Btw, she LOVES people who tag on her tagboard, so do make sure you let her know that you were here! Have an awesome day anyway! (:

But you never give

Term One, Week Three.
Pretty much settled down in school, with lectures and tutorials going on at a speed pretty close to full blast and three tests. (With bio and chem being on the same day which led to some brain degeneration by 3pm on tuesday afternoon. At least Miss Fernandez was kind enough to postpone our GP essay test from tuesday to thursday, or I'd suppose we'd be rendered braindead.)

I'm not saying that I'm enjoying every moment of school, but it certainly seems a little more bearable right now (possibly because crappy week two & three of the year is finally over where the stupidest things happen. Like last wednesday which was complete epic fail.) But it could also possibly due to the fact that CNY's coming, which naturally makes me happier in general. (:

Or how lecturers are attempting to make our lectures a little less boring. Like how the current chem lecturer 'zi high's and subtly (i suppose) entertains herself which pretty much annoyed the heck outta me, but thinking back it could have been some form of entertainment for us. Or bio, when Mr O was lecturing on genetic virus for the past few lectures and how we were laughing wildly when he said something so innocently which made us bio students 想歪. LOL.
Mr O:
(1) "... And the next parton HIV, which I've a lot of information to share with you guys..."
(2) "... And I was discussing this topic (something about HIV/STD) with Mr N..."
(3) "... Takes 9 months to conceive a baby. But anyway, you guys should be studying for the 9 months, not making a baby ah! Your baby should be your A's..."

(I think we must be really stressed to be laughing at all the above sentences. As I was typing it I realised only the 2nd and the 3rd was still amusing. LOL.)

But then again, school still feels draggy. Zee told me how HY thought it was only a few weeks ago that he took his last GP test. (Fyi, the last GP test we all had was, way before promos last year. LOL. But then again, I would really wanna whack his head haha!)

Anyway, accompanied Donna for choir audition on, had a casual chat with TT & Mrs Lee for a little while after her audition, and visited choir thereafter before institute that night. Visited Oli at her Natgeo Cafe workplace (which honestly suits her really well) before mugging with Zee till we were so tired. NYP for the allied health science immersion day camp before studying with Zee & Meena for a lil' while, followed by CNY shopping with Sab in town. Totally exhausted right now, haha!

Better get some work done right now.
Ohmyword integration and ionic equilibria. ):
I don't like. ):

I'm gonna end with this quote that someone posted as her fb status 10mins ago:
- You'd never know how strong you are until being strong is the only option you have left.

Xoxo.
