Hey! This is Jesmine but there are a thousand and one others out there who calls her Jia Min too! She's (finally) 18 and is more than happy to be showered with gifts on the nineth day of the third month each year. She's currently mugging in Nanyang Junior College with a bunch of cute people in 1002, but she still loves and misses her alma mater, TKGS together with her dearest 4e1 very very much. She ditched her 4-years long CCA, netball, for singing - both in choir and as a soloist (Just don't ask her to sing Don't Cry For Me, Argentina. It's Marisa's new ploy to watch a free show! And I know poor Bren's sick of playing it!) She's been stuck in Alto 2 in choir for a good ol' 5 years while her dearest conductor is still deciding whether to leave her there or transfer her somewhere else, but she takes the performing role of a mezzosoprano as a soloist (and communicate her 3-octave range using her perfect pitch to her rocking friends who in turn gives her nicknames of innate objects such as tuning fork, piano and amplifier. :/) Oops, she nearly forgot to mention that she was a part of the Superwomen(Student Welfare) committee of the Prefectorial Board back in the good ol' TKGS days. She's awesomely proud to be an Latter-Day Saint, and savouring her last year as a Laurel before she gets kicked out of YW. She loves her family and friends to bits, and in her (very little) free time, adores chilling out with her friends, attend concerts, shopping (and window shopping too. Money don't fall from the sky, y'know.), singing, tinkling on the piano, blogging, FBing and there's so much more she'll prolly need a thousand pages for her to fill up her "LOVES&HOBBIES" section. Flowers, cute huggable soft toys, helium balloons and (hand-written) letters and notes are some of her favourite things.♥

PS: I can/can't believe you just spent/wasted 5 minutes of your life reading her introductory speech. Btw, she LOVES people who tag on her tagboard, so do make sure you let her know that you were here! Have an awesome day anyway! (:

I cried a river for you

Today was pretty alright.

Bio Mock SPA was pretty easy - quite a couple of regurgitation questions apart from the experiment. (I really miss doing food test last year though... D:)
Lunched with Oli (The laksa was not too bad, though Mummeh Oli was practically feeding her uniform with the gravy, haha!) after school. Zee came over after her lesson and we were doing tutorials when Zee suddenly asked me to accompany her to get her Vitamin C tablets outside school (for SRP) so I did, (And I got Marie Low's carnation too - the daisies were too ugly, heehee!) Came back, did a lil' more of Chem Equilibria tutorial before Gabz came over (from his supposed Econs 'fieldtrip' which was at the playground outside school in search for market failure! Lol Mrs R. is such a cute teacher, hahaha!) And he said how there were little kids playing at the playground and when Mrs R. told the kids. "Okay I'm gonna conduct a lesson here, if you want, you can stay." All the kids ran away! Haha! :P Oli and Zee left for Lit supp and SRP resepectively, while Gabz and I went to the round benches (and up to the choir room later) and chatted about almost everything till 3.30pm when I had to go for choir. Thanks Gabz, I really miss having a close friend like you to talk to, haha :D And please please study hard okay; don't even think of U-turning now. Choir was alright, sectionals followed by mass alto voice training (my voice's feels like it's stuck in my throat today :/) and i need to cure my dark sound, still. Sigh I guess it's been a problem that I've had to work on for ages, but I guess it's not too late to try to make myself sound brighter. And somehow my range seemed to have shrunk a little. I need to train! :D

Well, enough of the happy stuff for now.
I guess one main problem that's been weighing on my mind was MYE results. True, I felt decently happy with it, honestly (And I think I'll pass everything on my record.) but from the conversation with the parentals on sunday, I could tell they weren't too happy about it...
So tell me, what should I do?
Or how should I feel?
What am I supposed to do to make you guys happy?
Straight A's for promos? (at the expense of my happiness level? The straight A's won't come anyway - not for promos, at the very least.)
I think I'll start celebrating if I attained straight Cs.
Sigh.

It's painfully difficult to please the parentals. :(

Okay, I'm making a move first.
Goodnight world.

Xoxo.
